About the School Police

  • The School District of the City of York School Police Department is a school-based agency/program consisting of full-time sworn officers who have pledged to serve and protect the future leaders of York. As a district, the safety of our students and staff is paramount. 
     
    School Police were recognized by the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) and presented the "Model SRO Agency Award" in 2015.
     
    The primary role of the School Police is to maintain safety and security and foster a safe learning environment for all students and staff. School Police model safety, diligence, building rapport, trust, and integrity with our students, staff, and community. School Police support District-Wide to allow our learners to take advantage of a safe learning environment for optimal student achievement. 
     
    The School District of the City of York's Chief of School Police is Quinn R. Johnson.
    The School District of the City of York's Lieutenant of School Police is Bryan Einsig.
