Davis students visit Hershey Museum, paint with chocolate

Posted on January 25th, 2017

On January 12, 1st and 2nd grade Davis K-8 students from Ms. Mulrooney, Ms. Johns and Ms. Buczek’s classes went on a field trip to the Hershey Museum to experience the Hershey story.

The children painted with chocolate and learned about the factory and its employees in the 1900s. The children experienced many of the hands-on activities the museum offers. Everyone had a great time.

Exceptional students treated to Maze Quest trip

Posted on January 25th, 2017

This fall, 50 students in grades 4-8 at Davis were rewarded with a trip to Maze Quest in New Park, Pa.

The students were chosen by staff and coordinators for exceptional behavior, attendance and group participation. We were accompanied by six parent chaperones who were eager and excited to help. The students really had a great time and as an additional treat they were transported in a coach bus for additional luxury.

Overall, the activities went great and the students did an exceptional job representing Davis and the York City School District.
