Devers K-8 welcomes Principal Keith Still!

After graduating from Warwick High School in 1991, Mr. Still attended Hampton University and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He worked at Hampton University in the biotechnology department for two years on a grant from the Department of Energy.

He started his career in education at Denbigh High School, where he taught biology, zoology and other sciences for eight years. In 2006 Mr. Still earned a master’s degree from Cambridge College in educational leadership. Mr. Still then moved to York to work as an assistant principal at William Penn Senior High School.

For eight years, Mr. Still served as a principal within the School District of the City of York at the Lindbergh Academy, Hannah Penn, McKinley and the high school. Mr. Still moved to Susquehanna Township School District to work as high school principal for four years before returning home to the School District of the City of York in 2018 to become principal at Devers K-8.

Mr. Still believes all students can learn when given engaging curriculum and caring teachers who understand that all children learn and process information differently.
