Monday mornings are always better walking with friends! Our Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, Dr. George Fitch made a special appearance with the Walking School Bus crew! The walking school bus program, led by Family First Health and Community Progress Council/Community of Hope, is a fun and safe way for students in the Hannah Penn community to get to school. Participating children are “picked up” at designated “bus stops” along the route to school, and walk in a group led by trained adult staff members (Walk Leaders).

It starts at the corner of S. George Street and College Avenue, heading east. Once at Pine Street, the route turns right and then left onto Liberty Court before arriving at the school. Join us next Monday, as there will be another very special guest!
