"We have completed our third Listen and Learn, and we're so excited to be collecting data from the community stakeholders as well as from staff. We will continue to collect that data through December and hopefully start to organize that data and prioritize it as the months go on. Thank you to those stakeholders and parents and families who have participated in those Listen and Learns, and I encourage all of you to take the time to be able to participate and have your voice heard. We have an opportunity for you, Bearcat community. Please consider registering for the December Give a Meal initiative that we have going on before November 24th. Information will be available on our website and please look out for information and flyers coming home.
This evening, we will have a safety protocols meeting and that will be sponsored by our parent liaisons. 5:00 today, of course, October 28th, please come out and learn about the safety protocols in the school district of the City of York. It will be again at William Penn Senior High School. We hope to see you there.
For our parents, guardians, and families, November 7th and 8th are our conference days. If you haven't already, please consider scheduling conferences for your students so we can see the wonderful progress that they have made. Our staff has been hard at work and your students have been hard at work in school and we would love to be able to share their progress. If your teachers haven't reached out to you for a conference, please feel free to reach out to them. Hope to see you on November 7th and 8th.
We continue to have several openings at the School District of the City of York, specifically in special education. We have para openings as well as teacher openings. There are also an abundance of other openings.
