Arthur W. Ferguson PreK-8 is a community school located in York, PA, which is in a small city setting. Ferguson PreK-8 follows a community school model and was the first school to be part of the First 10 initiative. We have a highly and fully qualified caring staff who are committed to seeing our students grow and prosper. We have many support services for students within the building, including Community in Schools, social workers, guidance counselors, mentoring programs, and PA Counseling services. At Ferguson PreK-8, we offer ESL- English as a second language program, special education services provided by fully qualified staff, and peer mediation (student-to-student). We also have full-time nursing staff on site, and safety and security staff available.
