"Greetings Bearcat community. Our next listen and learn for the 25-26 budget season is on February 11th and that will be at Hannah Penn Pre-K 8 school. You are welcome to attend between 5:30 and 7:30. We look forward to you having your voices heard and giving us input for our 25-26 budget.
This new year please utilize this time to update appointments for your students and make sure that their immunizations are up-to-date. We want our students to be as safe as they possibly can and receive the appropriate immunizations. Please take the time to check in with your physician to make sure that your students immunizations are up-to-date and or physicals or medication checks.
The district is offering tax information sessions on the 14th of January at William Penn Senior High School in the cafeteria. That's an entrance at door 15. Please come over and get your basic tax questions answered and information about filing. WIDA testing has begun in the School District of the City of York for four of our schools today.
Davis, Devers, Ferguson, and Hannah Penn are first up and on those tests. Our ELD students are showcasing how they've made improvement in their proficiency levels. We're excited to be able to offer this opportunity and even more excited to see how wonderfully our students are going to go. We wish them the best in the coming weeks.
The School District of the City of York is seeking support services people to grow our support services family. If you are interested in being a personal care assistant, an instructional aide, a custodial worker, or any other support services jobs, please go to our website and apply and become a part of our family. We would love to have you as a part of our Bearcat family and be able to help you to take advantage of our great benefits as well as work with some of the best students in the state of Pennsylvania."
