Bearcat Cyber Academy Application
School District of the City of York
The 2024-2025 school year is here! Students and families who want to enroll in Bearcat Cyber Academy (BCA) for the 24-25 School Year. The BCA Application is currently open for Marking Period 4. Please use the link below. to apply:
Marking Period 4: March 10, 2025- March 25, 2025
https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/161eb358ba82411283e3d7d52ddb8645
Students who are interested in BCA, but who apply outside of the application window, will need a recommendation from their building administrator, as well as approval from the Office of Student Services. No exceptions will be entertained.
In order to be approved to attend BCA, students and a guardian will need to complete all components of the application and attend an on-site or virtual orientation. Once students have completed these requirements, an acceptance decision will be made. If a student is accepted, they will remain, at minimum, in BCA for the duration of the marking period. Students who apply mid-marking period will need to be approved by the Office of Student Services. Additionally, students who demonstrate lack of success in the program at the end of a marking period, will be issued an Individualized Plan for Success (IPS) for the next marking period. If the student is still unsuccessful, the student will be transferred back to their home building for the duration of the school year and can apply again the following school year.
We look forward to working with you and your child to have a successful school year. Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us at 717-849-1388.
Thank you.
Leah Hilliard Principal- Bearcat Cyber Academy (BCA).
