Welcome to the start of a new school year in the School District of the City of York! As we step into this season of learning and growth, our district theme, Planting Seeds for a Better Tomorrow, reminds us that every moment we invest in our students today helps shape a brighter future for us all.
Please take note of the following important updates to our back-to-school schedule:
Tuesday, August 19: Only students in PreK, Kindergarten, 8th, 9th, and 12th grade should report to school.
Wednesday, August 20: All students in PreK-12th grade should report to school.
This staggered start allows us to give extra attention to students entering new and important stages of their educational journey.
