In April 2024, McKinley Pre-K-8 students, teachers, and staff held their monthly PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Celebration and it was a fun time for all! The celebration began with a dance party, where music was played over the speakers and all students participating were able to dance in the hallways with their peers and teachers. Following the dance party, some of McKinley Pre-K-8’s amazingly talented staff members went up against some 7th and 8th grade students in a Staff vs. Students basketball game! Other students were able to participate by watching and cheering on their favorite teachers and students. The game was close in the beginning, but the staff team prevailed with a win over the students, who are now asking for a re-match!
