As National March into Literacy Month comes to an end, our younger Bearcats at Smith STEAM Academy were filled with excitement as they recently received a special read aloud from several 8th grade students and community members. #BearcatPride🐾

March is Youth Art Month and Music in our Schools Month! To celebrate, Edgar Fahs Smith STEAM Academy students created projects that expressed how music shapes the way that we produce and view art. #BearcatPride🐾

Ms. Wonders' class at Smith STEAM Academy have been reading "Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?" Ms. Wonders and her students enjoyed picking out a character from the book, creating and designing a paper plate mask for that character and then acting it out. The students also helped to create Wacky Wednesday snack mixes to pass out to teachers as a pick me up for the week. #BearcatPride🐾

Smile ~ It's Picture Day! Friday Oct ober 18 is picture day at STEAM Academy. All students will have thier photo taken to be a part of the class picture. STEAM students are to show their PRIDE and wear their uniform for pictures.

Do you have the Bearcat Spirit? Yes - we do! On Fridays , we invite students to show their STEAM Bearcat Spirit by wearing their blue and orange shirts! Students can wear blue or orange STEAM t-shirts or sweatshirt that can be purchased from our school store, or any blue and orange shirt. Students must continue to adhere to uniform policy with appropriate school uniform bottoms and no hoodies. Let's show our Blue and Orange STEAM Bearcat PRIDE!
