Smith STEAM Academy

The K-8 STEAM Academy interest form for the 2025–2026 school year is now open! Families interested in having their child attend E.F. STEAM Academy should complete the online form by Wednesday, June 12. Space is limited by grade level, and priority is given to new applicants who have siblings currently enrolled at STEAM Academy. Enrollment communications will be shared via email once interest forms are reviewed. All K-8 schools have also received paper copies of the interest form for families who need them. Join us on Thursday, May 15, from 5–7 PM for our annual STEAM Showcase! This event is a great opportunity for new families to visit the school, explore student projects, and learn more about our unique learning environment. Scan the QR code to complete the form. As National March into Literacy Month comes to an end, our younger Bearcats at Smith STEAM Academy were filled with excitement as they recently received a special read aloud from several 8th grade students and community members. #BearcatPride🐾

March is Youth Art Month and Music in our Schools Month! To celebrate, Edgar Fahs Smith STEAM Academy students created projects that expressed how music shapes the way that we produce and view art. #BearcatPride🐾

Ms. Wonders' class at Smith STEAM Academy have been reading "Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?" Ms. Wonders and her students enjoyed picking out a character from the book, creating and designing a paper plate mask for that character and then acting it out. The students also helped to create Wacky Wednesday snack mixes to pass out to teachers as a pick me up for the week. #BearcatPride🐾

Smile ~ It's Picture Day! Friday Oct ober 18 is picture day at STEAM Academy. All students will have thier photo taken to be a part of the class picture. STEAM students are to show their PRIDE and wear their uniform for pictures.
