Dear William Penn Families,
According to Pennsylvania state guidelines, the 2025-2026 Pennsylvania Keystone Assessments will be administered in the School District of the City of York during the months of December and January. Please review the information below regarding the testing schedule for students.
Keystone Testing Schedule: Testing at William Penn Senior High School will be conducted for any student who has completed the course for Algebra I, Biology, and/or English 10, as well as for students who did not pass their Keystone Assessments in the 2024-2025 school year.
Tuesday, December 9, 2025: Algebra Keystone Assessments
Thursday, January 8, 2026: Literature Keystone Assessments
Friday, January 9, 2026: Biology Keystone Assessments
Preparation for Testing: To help ensure a successful testing experience, please support your scholar by:
Ensuring students arrive on time (7:30-8:00 AM) and enter the building through Door #15.
Reminding students that cell phone use is prohibited during the assessment and will be collected in the cafeteria until they are dismissed for the day.
Encouraging students to utilize their Keystone Coach Book resource to review and study important information.
Having students bring their charged school-issued laptop and charger to every testing date.
Non-Testing Students: During the Keystone Assessment window, students who are not scheduled to test will have asynchronous learning days.
