Earlier today, William Penn Senior High School hosted their annual Divine Nine Day and Meet the Greeks event. The event began with students attending a panel discussion where they were able to learn about the nine historically black fraternities and sororities.

Following the panel, students were invited to attend the Meet the Greeks showcase where they had an opportunity to receive additional information on each of the organizations.

William Penn Senior High School took center stage at our School Board meeting last evening with a fantastic presentation, showcasing what makes their school special, sharing data, and highlighting student and staff support.

SDCY families and staff came together to learn about the various health services available in the district, including the William Penn Senior High School Health Center, the Mobile School Dentist Program, and resources from the George Street Center.

Two Bearcat Alumni, Itammar Sanon and Abdul Hinton recently represented York as champions for inclusion, raising over $1800 for Best Buddies international. WPSHS has been a part of Best Buddies international for the past four years. This organization has created lifelong friendships between students with autism and IDD and their peers.
