April is National Bilingual/Multilingual Learner Advocacy Month!

Our district would like to celebrate our Bilingual Staff who play a vital role in making our school buildings feel inclusive, welcoming, and connected. By bridging communication between families and staff, they help ensure every student has the support they need to succeed. Their work goes far beyond translation—they build relationships, foster understanding, and strengthen our entire Bearcat community.

Jackson Bearcats in Ms. Jen & Ms. Bambi's Pre-K classrooms recently went on an exciting field trip to Fun City. Students engaged in an active learning experience that supported gross motor development, balance, coordination, social skills, and confidence. From jumping and climbing to swinging, sliding, and running, it was a day full of adventures and learning!

A group of three William Penn Senior High School students, Yazmily, Ailani, and Isabella, alongside Ms. Dakota Gonda and Mr. Joshua Gross, recently traveled to compete in the annual Pennsylvania Technology Student Association (PA-TSA) State Conference.

Our Bearcats participated in events focused on web site design, data science and analytics, and video production. They also participated in extracurricular interest sessions, such as peer-to-peer speed networking, metallurgy, and early career professional development.

Special shoutout to WPSHS student, Yazmily, for placing in the top 8 out of 20 finalist interviews on her data science report!
