Bearcat Families: Beginning July 29th, through August 16th, the School District of the City of York will be holding open student enrollment at the district administrative office located at 31 N. Pershing Avenue, during the hours of 8:30am through 3:30pm. According to the PA Department of Education, any student who will be 6 years of age or older by August 31, 2024, should be enrolled in public or private school. Students who will be 5 years of age by August 31st may be admitted to Kindergarten. Parents/Guardians should bring proof of residency, immunizations and legal verification of the student’s age. The application may also be completed online from the comfort of your home, in your preferred language, by visiting our district website. Families who need assistance with the immunization process may sign up for our vaccination camp. Information for this will be available at registration and is on the district’s website. Our last spirit week
Our 2nd year of our 7/8 grade dance was another success, the kids came out and showed out!

We have begun our science PSSA testing for our 4th and 8th graders ONLY. Cohort A (grade 4th) will come to school on Monday May 6th, Tuesday May 7th, and Friday May 10th. Cohort B (grade 8th) will come to school on Wednesday May 8th, Thursday May 9th, and Friday May 10th. All students that are not in 4th grade or 8th grade will come to school Monday-Friday.
The PSSAs will continue next week. Cohort A (grades 3,5,7) will come to school on Monday April 29th, Tuesday April 30th, and Friday May 3rd. Cohort B (grades 4,6,8) will come to school on Wednesday May 1st, Thursday May 2nd, and Friday May 3rd. All prek-2 will come to school Monday-Friday.

Grades Pre-K-2 will come all week , normal schedule. April22-26.
There are two cohorts for PSSA testing.
Cohort A (grades 3,5,7) will come to school on Monday April 22, Tuesday April 23 and Friday April 26.
