This program allows students to practice and compete in organized video game tournaments while building friendships and engaging in teamwork. 7th and 8th grade students at Devers PreK-8 recently visited the National Museum of African American History and Culture located in Washington, D.C., where they learned more about African American history.

Davis PreK-8 and Smith STEAM Academy presented at our School Board Committee meeting last evening with fantastic presentations, showcasing what makes their school special, sharing data, and highlighting student and staff support.
A special moment of the evening was the presentation of the Celebrating Families Award to The Amtdi Family (Davis) and The Mines Family (STEAM), two families who exemplify what it means to be a dedicated partner in education.

A group of WPSHS students from Ms. Gonda's class recently traveled to Mountain View Middle School to compete in the regional Technology Student Association (TSA) competition. This association enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in STEM in which students can integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs.
We would like to congratulate Yazmily Sanyet Virola, Yuddy Filpo Nunez, and Santiago Leyva Galeano on qualifying for the State competition which will take place in April. We wish you the best of luck Bearcats! 🐾
