The district's second Budget Listen and Learn was held on last evening. These meetings are designed to discuss plans and ideas for the 2024-2025 budget. It creates an opportunity for you to let your voices be heard as we identify district needs and wants for the budget. We would like to remind you that our next Budget Listen and Learn will be held virtually on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 beginning at 5:30 PM. 28 William Penn students attended the 3rd Annual Dorene Wilbur HBCU & Workforce Fair at Dickinson College, exploring college and career paths and connecting with HBCUs like Lincoln, Spelman, and Howard. The event was held at historic Allison Hall, where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once spoke. #BearcatPride 🐾

Every month, Dynamic Davis celebrates their students who consistently show their Bearcat PRIDE with a homemade breakfast made by cafeteria staff as well as a special award ceremony. This was Davis' first breakfast of the school year. Students received medals, award certificates, and prizes for being leaders in the school. The SDCY held its first Faith-Based Meeting of the school year yesterday. Faith-Based leaders worked together to create a mission, vision and purpose which will be used to build the foundation of the group. From robotics to coding, engineering design to career exploration, students are experiencing hands-on learning that enhances their classroom objectives.
